Horizontal Mail Boxes
Made entirely of aluminum, 3600 series U.S.P.S. approved horizontal mail boxes are available as FRONT LOADING units or REAR LOADING units. If the unit is a front loading mailbox, a front loading door panel swings on a continuous hinge. One mailbox opening is required for master postal locks or commercial locks and cannot be used for mail distribution, however, the opening is readily convertible to receive outgoing letters through mail slots. If the unit is rear loading mail box, all openings are usable. Horizontal mail box units are available with standard “A” size doors and larger “B” size doors. Units with standard “A” size doors are available 3, 4 or 5 wide and 5, 6 OR 7 HIGH. Units with larger “B” size doors are available 2 wide and 5, 6 OR 7 HIGH. Commercial horizontal mailboxes can receive mail from either the US POSTAL SERVICE or from a PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL. Units feature anodized aluminum doors. Each door includes five (5) pin cylinder cam locks with two (2) keys and a 2'' W x 5/8'' H clear plastic card holder (card included) to identify the tenant’s name and/or box number. The 16-1/2'' D compartments are made of sheet aluminum.
